LITTER NOTE:

The girl pup was tiny when born, and took a great deal of effort to revive.  She gained very little and only lived 2 weeks after round the clock care & supplementation.  The dam tried to reject her several times and we believe her heart had a defect which ultimately resulted in  congestive heart failure.  This is not believed by our vet, long time breeders nor the Veterinary cardiologist I consulted, to be a genetic trait, but simply a birth defect.
