TRUMAN made "the cut" (became a finalist) during Best of Breed judging at the WSSCA National Specialty in Harrisburg!
Way to go Truman & Carolyn!!!
The first part of the "news" was that we had a Major in bitches at the show in So Jordan, Utah just last weekend! I think it is only the second major in Welsh in Utah in about 20 years!
The best part was Kyra taking BOS all 3 days she was entered and collecting her 3 majors towards her Grand CH!!!!
We are very pleased to announce Kyra has been awarded her CHIC!
At the South Jordan shows, the crowning achievment was a bit of poetic justice when Geni took Best of Breed the first time Sarah handled her! This is pretty rare for a puppy, especially a Standard Poodle puppy and quite a thrill for Sarah & Rico as well as Karen, Geni's breeder and co-owner.
Way to go, team Poodle!
This is my good friend, Jana Cooley with her boy,Conor going Best of Breed and making "the cut" in the Group under Breeder-Judge, Doug Johnson at the Rio Hondo show in CA. Good to see Jana having fun out there - Congratulations!

Kyra looked sharp at the Blackfoot, ID 4 day show in mid June. There was an amazing assortment of TOP, Nationally ranked dogs in the Sporting Group, but on Sat., Kyra was one of 6 who made 'the cut' under Judge D. Booxbaum with Sarah handling!
Thanks to everyone who came to town...it was a super weekend with lots of great people & good times, beautiful Welsh and plenty of winning all around!

TOO CUTE!

An ultrasound today confirmed Kyra is pregnant with 5, or possibly 6 puppies! Yay!!! She is a little thicker behind the ribs, and very clingy so we have been hopeful! Her due date is 9/10/11.
